The hotel had character and was light and airy, offering awesome rooms perfect for pre-wedding festivities. The location was perfect, next to Balboa Park, and the dining experience can be a sales pitch. However, the service could be pushy at times. Overall, a great stay with some minor drawbacks.

The apartment was awesome, giving us plenty of space with nicely decorated rooms and a tidy and clean kitchen. The staff were welcoming and offered in and out privileges, but street parking nearby is limited. The exceptional location in a walker's paradise allowed us access to brewpubs, restaurants, and Balboa Park.

Wow! Staying at this hotel was like having a little condo all to myself. The rooms were awesome, felt like a small apartment with a separate kitchen, and they even had all the cooking materials I needed. However, the dining experience was a bit bothersome early in the morning due to noise. The service was top-notch and really accommodating, perfect for our departure arrangements in the morning. The location was just exceptional, right across from Balboa Park in a quiet neighborhood but close to everything I needed. The facilities were on point, with great amenities to enjoy.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were beautiful, just like the photos, with fully equipped kitchens, but they lacked counter space for placing personal items. The service was friendly overall, but there was some pressure put on us for additional activities. The location was ideal for exploring San Diego, especially being close to Balboa Park, yet it was away from the beach areas. The dining options were limited, and there were some noise disturbances. However, the overall value was good for the price paid.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the rooms were very clean and well-organized with a view of the bay/ocean, it was really noisy during the day due to the rooftop facility above. The service was friendly and accommodating, but they kept pushing me to attend a presentation for the Shell Vacation Club. The location was convenient, right across Balboa Park, ideal for visiting the zoo and park, but there were constant attempts to sell me a timeshare. The dining experience was disrupted by noise early in the morning and an uncomfortable push to attend a presentation, although the traditional meals were satisfactory.

The hotel's great central location with a kitchenette in the rooms offers convenience, but daytime noise from the rooftop facility can be bothersome. The lack of blackout blinds could affect your sleep quality, but the thoughtful touch of keeping toothbrushes accessible is appreciated.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms, including the kitchenette, are well-equipped and functional. However, the daytime noise from the rooftop facility can be disruptive, and the absence of blackout blinds might affect your rest. On the bright side, finding toothbrushes ready by the sink was a thoughtful gesture.
Service
6.0
The service was a mixed experience. While the staff went out of their way to assist me, there were persistent attempts to involve me in a timeshare presentation, which could be off-putting. However, their efforts to be helpful and provide services like dry cleaning and valet parking were commendable.
Location
